Norma Jane Jarrett

March 25, 1952 - June 20, 2019

Norma Jane Jarrett, 67 of Fairview, died Thursday, June 20, 2019 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 25, 1952, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania; the daughter of the late Thomas Bolyard and Erma Jean (Britton) Bolyard. Norma worked for Fairmont Regional Medical Center as a certified nursing assistant. She enjoyed camping, fishing and the outdoors. Norma was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Norma is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Maynard Jarrett of Fairview; one son, Norman Kelley of Pennsylvania; two daughters, Alena Ashby and her husband, Jerry of Clarksburg and Diana Foley of Fairview; thirteen grandchildren, Alexander, Abigail, Aiden, Ryan, Marshall, Lola, Alexius, Robbie, Zachary, Sierra, Garrett, Ethan, and Brianne; great-grandchildren, Wade, Jaxson, Lilah, Hadlee, Landon and Ryver, one brother, Tom Bolyard and his wife, Sandy of Ohio; three sisters, Connie Goldy, Linda Harbin and Annette Bolyard all of Fairmont. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her son, Thurmond “Gene” Eugene Kelley, Jr. Mrs. Jarretts’ family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff at the Mary Babb Cancer Center and the staff on 9 West at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital and her caregivers. Family and friends are welcome to call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont on Sunday from 1pm to 7pm and on Monday from Noon to 1pm. with services taking place on Monday, June 24,2019 at 1pm at the funeral home, with George McElroy officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
