Kimberly Kay Waller, 56, of Fairmont, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Latrobe Hospital in Pennsylvania, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 13, 1963, in Fairmont, a daughter of the late Howard Earl Waller and Patricia A. (Pyles) Waller. Kim was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandma, and she leaned heavily on her faith in God. Everyone who knew her for her amazing strength and her encouraging attitude. She was an advocate in the disabled community, sharing her story and always encouraging others to persevere. Kim took great pride in her home and her family. She loved to sit on her porch, enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature, the beauty of a sunset and most of all, watching her grandchildren play in her yard. Kim also loved her pets and she could never pass up a good deal or a fish filet sandwich! Kim is survived by two daughters, Sarah Schroen and her husband, Brandon, and Mandy Waller; grandchildren, James Bonner, Jarren Bonner, Eli Schroen; her twin brother, Don Waller and his wife, Brenda Waller; her nephews, Michael, Justin and Donnie Waller and David Sizemore; her aunt, Deborah L. DeLauder; and her uncle, Victor John Pyles, Jr. In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her son-in-law, John Bonner; and her grandparents, Mary and Victor Pyles. Family and friends are welcome to call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, on Tuesday from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m., and on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 10 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Zinn, officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
