John Michael Ezerski

John Michael “Mike” Ezerski, 72, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 due to complications of COVID-19. He was born August 27, 1948 in Rivesville (Morgan Mines), West Virginia, to the late John and Anna Ezerski. Mike is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sheila Madigan Ezerski; a son, Michael Ray Ezerski, Sr., and a daughter, Ashley Ezerski; grandchildren, Michael, Isabella, Natalia, Zennon, Gabrielle, and Ian; and a great-granddaughter, Harlow. Also survived are two sisters, Victoria Hawkins and Judith Berry (Michael); nieces and nephews: Michael Scott Hawkins (Becka), Donald Joe Hawkins (Sally), Lori Ice (Terry), Beth Ann Simon (Bryan), and Chris Reel; as well as many loving great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers James “Jim” Ezerski and Joe Paul Ezerski, as well as his childhood friend, Richard Shahan. Mike retired from Timken Company of Canton Ohio after 30 years. He loved coming home to West Virginia during hunting season and hunting with his nephews and bringing his grandson, Zennon, to visit. He always visited for the Hawkins-Guesman Family Reunion and enjoying time with his two uncles, Raymond Hawkins and Perry Hawkins, and cousins (too numerous to mention). Mike shared a special bond with all family and friends. Mike will be greatly missed. It is comforting to the family to know that he is now with his Savior and loved ones gone before him. In keeping with the family’s wishes, Mike will be cremated.
