Earl Ernest Cutright, 80, of Farmington, West Virginia, formerly of Rivesville West Virginia, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 15, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born on April 29, 1939 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania a son of the late William Oliver Cutright and Helen Natalynn (Miele) Cutright. Earl was man of God with deep faith, he was a member of the Barrackville Church of Christ. A retired coal miner, he knew and embodied the meaning of hard work and was a proud member of the United Mine Workers of America. Earl had a special knowledge and skill for antique cars and was a vintage automobile enthusiast. Most of all, he loved his family and friends and his door was always open for a visit or cup of coffee. Earl is survived by the love of his life, Barbara (Keefover) Cutright of Farmington, whom he married on June 4, 1960; his two loving daughters, Terri Massey and her husband, Gary of Farmington and Trena Simons and her companion, Ronnie Sigley of Rivesville; five grandchildren, Ashley Rich of Fairmont, Tyler Rich and his companion, Michaela Chisler of Fairmont, Dustin Simons of Farmington, Sara Parrucci and her husband, Zach of Fairmont, and Luke Massey of Arthurdale; two great-grandchildren, Ashlynne Bolyard, Miles Stickles and was expecting his third great-grandchild in August; and one brother, Pat Cutright of Bainbridge, Georgia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, his identical twin, Merle M. Cutright, Robert “Bob” Cutright, and Ruben Cutright, his sister, Ella Marie Cutright and his grandson, David Nicholas Rich, in infancy. Family and friends may call at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 pm, and Thursday from 10am to 11am with services taking place at the funeral home on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 11am with Evangelist Steve Snider and Evangelist Clinton Rowand officiating. Interment will follow in the McCurdysville Cemetery.
