Beverly June Knotts

March 29, 1938 - July 20, 2020

Beverly June Knotts, 82, of Fairmont, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020, at the Tygart Center at Fairmont Campus. She was born on March 29, 1938, in Topeka, Kansas, a daughter of the late George and Viola (Ford) Walters. After graduating high school, Beverly worked as a salesperson at Murphy’s, Ames, and K-Mart. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Clarence Knotts, and brother, James Boyles. Beverly is survived by her son, Donald Knotts and his wife Robin, of Fairmont; daughters, Wanda Kisner and her husband Jack, of Fairmont, and Janet Lipscomb and her husband Allen, of Georgia; brother, Butch Boyles and his wife Mary, of Kansas; her companion, John Fancher, of Fairmont; grandchildren: Lil Jack Kisner and his wife Stacy, Amie Hodgins and her companion Matt Sandifer, as well as her former spouse, Rob Hodgins, Deidre Collins and her husband Josh, Thomas Knotts and his wife Katie, Brandon Knotts, Matt Porter, Hope Porter, Monica Markley, Jeremy Markley, and James Porter; as well as several loving great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Amedysis Hospice and the Tygart Center at Fairmont Campus for the wonderful and loving care they took of Beverly. In keeping with Beverly’s wishes, all services will be private.
